He was born in an elven village that worshipped the Dark Gods.

He was born an elf, but his body was radically altered by the influence of the Dark Gods' magic power. It's up for debate whether he would be considered a true elf at this point.

The yellow hood is part of the vestments of his religious order. The Dark God he's been influenced by is different than the one Demon Cleric worships, but Zastur respects his talents nevertheless.

Since the construction of Castle Town, he's mostly been hanging out in the inn (since no one noticed him).

He gets super clingy when people are nice to him.

He can sprout tons of tentacles.

The princess thought, "He's gonna come in handy!"

The Demon King was surprised by how different Zastur's sorcery was compared to that of the other demons.

When he wakes up, he tends to have lots of wrigglies coming out of him. He checks the mirror to style his hair and put away his wrigglies. He puts on his hometown cult's garb and he's done! He's buck naked Junder his pajamas (a bad habit he picked up when he was unnoticeable). He's so skinny that it's a bit worrying! He's actually skinnier than the princess.
